LCI landing gear drags
I was wondering if the rear 2 jacks behind the tires can be moved up. There are several holes on the bracket that I could simply disconnect and move up but I'm not sure if that would be ok for the system. The middle jacks are also mounted in the same position, and that's why I question rather or not I should move it. Thoughts?

I've never had mine drag at all and I've even been down some rough gravel roads and in and out of some bad restaurant entrances. It's set close to the tire for that reason and should protect from most stuff except going over a curb with ruts on the other side of the curb. When did it drag and what caused it?

I remained concerned about how low the front ones are. My dealer advised me to leave as installed because adjusting them to a different height would affect leg travel.

I would tell you to count the number of holes below the lowest current bolt position and post this new info to the forum for comparison with other units. Is it possible that someone on the line didn't put them on correctly...sure...is this the case...don't know till more info. John

I agree with John that could be an issue, although we haven't had it before. Also, are you towing level or is the trailer high in the front?

Mine are above the spare tire in the rear. The tire would drag before the jack pad. All mine have bottom hole bolted. Just installed by Lazy Days.

On my 3800re, the rear jacks are about two feet behind the rear wheels, the jack (or ram, if preferred) is mounted by two bolts in the bottom of the welded on mount...but the jack itself has six holes showing below the welded support...but would still be about at spare tire level when up IF I carried the spare there. I don't cause it is a pain there. So to the original poster, since units vary soooo much, we will have to compare how yours is mounted versus another similar model...or one that is basically the same and called something else due to floor plans changing over time. SOME times, when I see posts like this...I wonder if it is Keystone throwing out some bait onto the forum. But they wouldn't do that, would they? John
