Electric cord

Well, first time for everything. We were in such a hurry to leave for the weekend, I did the unspeakable. I only checked the lites from the drivers seat, and didn't do the walkaround after hooking up. If I had done it the right way, I would have seen the elctric cord was still plugged into the RV and the 30 amp outlet on my garage...........
I discovered the missing cord that evening at our destination.
I jury rigged an extension cord by putting male ends on both ends, and plugging one end into the outside outlet of the RV, while the other end was into the 20 Amp outlet on the RV box.
I discovered that the 50 amp system is split, so had only partial power. All the living room and kitchen worked, but nothing up in the bedroom. Any suggestions on powering the whole RV, besides the obvious?
Thanks

Steve & Robin

Pick up a 30A cord at WM and a 30-50 Adapter from a dealer. You will probably need to get them at some point anyway.

No damage to anything. I was lucky and didn't twist-lock the connection. The cord was layinf in the driveway waiting for our return...

I would go with Skip.

Get a 30 amp soft cord with a 50 amp end on it.
Nice to have one anyways.
