Really need to think about things better . .

We're going through Wyoming and Utah on the way to Nevada and Northern CA. Although it's been over 90 most days, it drops to below 50 and night. Perfect for overnighting at Wallymarts between campground stays. After spending a week in Aurora, CO, we stopped at one in Rawlins, WY. Couldn't figure out why the inverter was pulling well over fifteen amps just running a small fan in our bedroom (turned off all DC stuff just to be certain). I'd checked how much the misc. alarms pull before and this still didn't add up. Finally this AM I realized I'd left our hot spot and my computer adapters plugged into AC outlets - DUH!

When we pull about 15 amps it is when we are watching tv with the DTV box on. But those phones do add up.. We are now set up so the phones and iPad charges off the 12 volt side. This will allow us to turn off the inverter at night.

I had already been suffering from senior moments for some time but now am trying to recover from "chemo brain". It's even worse! LOL. But it's worth it, now am cancer free!

We've got it down to less than 9amps with the phones charging and less than 11 with the fan, but we don't charge the computers at night.

Even when the fridge is on propane only, the fans are running on 12 volts, especially when its hot outside.

The big piggy i always forget is the fireplace. When in standby mode waiting for the remote to activate it pulls a lot of juice.
