storing your 5th wheel in hot weather

hi all..
We are new to this site. Currently in Colorado waiting for Camping World to finish some warranty work(5 items since we bought this in October of 2020 but that is a different saga.
we are looking to store our 3790rd for May thru the end of summer or even longer depending on our excursions next fall. We will have our truck and trailer in covered storage. Not an ideal choice for location. Any other helpful do's and don'ts for accomplishing storage?
thanks for your time

If your 5th in in covered storage, close the blinds and lock it up. If you have availability to plug it in to keep the battery charged up I’d do that, if not disconnect the battery.

Forgot to say…Drain any water from your system so it don’t go stale.

If it is under covered storage, chances are good that the RVs on either side of you will shade your tires, but if you get an end bay unit and tires are exposed to west sun - i would cover the tires.

Humidity may not be much of a problem in Colorado, but in Florida I go through the large Damp Rid tablets about every two weeks. It might be a good idea to put a couple in the rig and keep the refrigerator doors wide open if not running.

Keep the ceiling/roof vents partially open. We keep about 6 charcoal briquettes in a panty hose hanging in the rig to absorb moisture. I never charge the battery in storage, just disconnect the negative cable. I leave a few pieces of Irish Spring around the unit to try and control rodents. Was using Cab Fresh from TSC for years but someone said they changed their formula and I ended up with a mouse invasion.

No issues closed up for months at a time in FL.

Good suggestions above. I keep the roof vents open and a living room window slightly open to prevent mold, mildew and get some ventilation. My rig is in covered storage in Texas but we still get storms and rain with high humidity. Also keep your freezer and refrigerator cracked open when not in use.

We built one of these awhile back one of the best investments we made.
Fully enclosed on the property it has kept our 2016 3000RE looking brand new.
