Problem, no 12V lights when not hooked up to a power pedestal and worse, no fridge on propane
- slides work on battery power
- front legs and rear stabilizers work on battery power
Hook up to the pedestal - 12V lights now work.
I haven't had enough free time yet to do more the check fuses, but kinda am looking for a direction before digging in. First guess is the WYCO converter (don't have an inverter) since it has already been replaced after a complete failure.
Any hints, folks?

Any chance your battery disconnect switch has been turned to disconnect the battery? My front jacks are wired direct to the battery, independent of the disconnect switch.

No 12vdc, no fridge since the control board needs 12vdc. I would think the battery switch as well. Hooking up to shore power and then having 12vdc lights work says converter is supplying power to your lights instead of the battery.

Or maybe the cheap resettable breaker on the wall, the one not supplying 12vdc to the hydraulic pump, is stuck open and not feeding dc power to the monte? This is a wild guess not knowing how they wired your trailer.

Check your battery disconnect switch or the auto reset breaker by the battery.

Battery disconnect switch was off. Switched it to on, every thing works fine now. No clue why it was off but I probably did it and is a case of CRS brought on after a senior moment.
Thanks all for the good advice again.
PS: As far as a resetable breaker - not sure that our 2014 vintage MHC has one with no hydraulic pump.

Had trouble with battery disconnect in convenience center....it would jiggle itself over to the "off" position. I finally used a small bungee cord to hold it in the "on " position. No more problems since...knock on wood!

PS: As far as a resetable breaker - not sure that our 2014 vintage MHC has one with no hydraulic pump.
Mine has one for the pump and one for everything else. With no pump I would guess you have one somewhere. But I can’t remember anyone ever having a problem with that “other” one.

I may just do a 'delete' on that so called disconnect. About all it does is shut down the 12VDC lights, fridge and probably the HW heater and furnace on gas while not plugged in 120VAC. I have a good shut off I need to install for the battery that makes more sense. That one will cut all 12VDC power.
I'll do a search for a resetable breaker tho all I've seen are a couple connector posts then wiring off to the distribution center. But with that said, really havn't looked specifically for that breaker

I'm thinking what you are seeing and calling connector posts is probably one of the 12 volt breakers. From the battery(ies), there still should be a breaker going to the main panel in the rig. This is a photo of one of the breakers I'm thinking you are seeing. On these rigs that have hydraulic, the second breaker will be in the position of the larger black breaker, which you say doesn't exist on your rig, but you should have one like what is shown with the red insulating cover in the photo. If that fails, that could cause a lack of 12 volts going from the battery to the panel and also backwards for the battery to get charged from the converter at the main panel

Bob - Thanks. Yes I do have a red boot covered plastic body connector with 2 posts on it. If it's a breaker, sure isn't like one I've ever seen before. I'll take a better look when we get home from rainy Maine (Dorian's breezy effect), I'm used to seeing what you show in the second photo in 12VDC operations though and have a couple in my '31Ford's much modified street rod electrical system.
If this MHC doesent hve a safety device breaker, may just add one since fuses wouls eveidently handle 12VDC overallbattery safety
PS = any idea what the amperage is if ours would have one - i.e. 50amp?

Dave - It is called an auto reset circuit breaker. Sounds impressive, but is actually a cheap piece of bimetal with electrical contacts on the end. Heats up, bends, and opens the circuit. Cools, bends back, and remakes the circuit. I think it is a poor application for a circuit that is continuously energized as it could trip/reset/trip/reset/trip/reset as long as a load was on it.
It should have the amp rating stamped on the side.
Here is a picture of one from my hydraulic pump circuit that kept tripping.

There are several fuses that can contribute to this issue. Just off the bbatteries are two fuses and on the converter there are two fuses and in the fuse panel there is a main fuse.
