I think some welding needs to be done. I am not a welder, so I would need someone else to do the work. The one person I know who did this modification said it was about $4000 including all labor.

I have them on our Montana. No, unless you are a great welder, I wouldn't tackle the job. It's fairly intricate and you have to remember that the levelers are just that -- they level the rig with the push of a button. They will lift the entire rig off the ground! They also come in handy when you have to remove a wheel! No fumbling around with a jack and trying to locate the best place to put it for jacking up the rig.

Unless you are a Certified Welder I wouldn't attemt to install the Big Foot system. I have been to the Big Foot factory in White Pigeon MI not White Flint, MI. and they are very professional. The Big Foot system is a great system. However if I were you I would look into the Level Up system by Lippert. We have had the Level up system on our last two 5th wheels. It consist of 6 Hydraulic jacks and the system will lift the entire 5th wheel off the ground and when loaded our 5th wheel can weight up to 18,500 lbs it is very heavy. It levels side to side and front to rear. It also has a remote control. I don't know what the system cost, our was free due to the promotional by the manufactor for those who bought a new 5th wheel at the Rally. But once you use the system you will forget the cost. Delaine and Lindy,
The Bigfoot manufacturer, Quadra, is located in White Pigeon, MI. I think that's what you meant.
