Baggie breakfast dolores western rally

Hi All Its Time to sign up what to bring for Baggie Breakfast

Time: 9:00 am Sunday June 12, 2022 at the Clubhouse Patio.

The Baggie Breakfast is a MOC tradition of placing raw eggs in a baggie with other great ingredients, boiling in a bath for a few minutes , and making an omelet.

What you need to bring is a one-quart zip lock freezer bag with your eggs in it:
Write your name on baggie with black sharpie (yes you must crack eggs first before putting in bag like scramble eggs) with number of eggs Ex one, two, three. Then add all your favorite ingredients to your bag and we will cook it for you.

We will need omelet ingredients, side dishes ,Potatoes, sweet rolls, coffee cake, bacon, sausage, ham, fruit, etc

We could use quite a bit of egg ingredients (in previous years we have run short due to increase new MOC members) please sign up for multiple members to bring ingredients...

Please bring your own plates, utensils, and coffee cups.

Can we put cheese in the bag? seems it would stick to griddle and make a mess. thanks
Also, what about toast? Can i pre-do my toast or bring bread and somehow it gets toasted.

Tom and Gail yes you can put everything you would put in an omelet. the zip lock bag then goes into a pot of boiling water to cook no grills. all you need is your eggs in the bag. there will be a table with all ingredients to put in bag and sides on other table. I will explain everything at meet and greet

The ziplock bag must be the heavier freezer bag, not just an ordinary sandwich bag.

Jim & Linda will bring: Spinach, breakfast pastries, and a fruit medley. I can bring a burner, pot, and propane if you need it. I'll staff it if someone shows me the method.

Not a problem! It is a complex process but someone smart enough to own a Montana will catch on quick!
