The check valve is behind the shower wall in the pocket door area. impossible to get at unless you cut a hole or take the door out.

If it is behind the shower, I was told by the service center you access it by removing the faucet on the shower wall and it should be there.
Notice I said it SHOULD BE.

On a 2005 model it may be under the bathroom sink

Send a message via Yahoo to NCFischers
It can be in different places depending on your model and year. It would help if you put that info in your profile.

If it is behind the shower like mine(you can tell by opening the sliding door, pushing it slightly forward, and looking in the slot with a flashlight), you will not reach it by removing the shower faucet. Been there, tried that.

This weekend I cut an 8 x 8" hole in the back of the kitchen cupboard and got easy access. The valve was broken - the plastic actually had snapped where it meets the plastic tubing. It looks like Keystone cut the down stream water line too short and the resulting downward pull on the valve fatigued the plastic over time. I will remedy that when I get a new valve to install.
