2955rl hydraulic issue/slides

2002 2955rl Lippert hydraulic pump tank leaked, slides will not retract. Need to replace pump, what issue is there with hydraulic fluid, such as line pressure, bleeding air from lines when pump is replaced ??

Think that pump may not around any more. Do you know where the leak was? My 2004 leaked around the O ring. I cleaned things up and used red RTV around the O ring. No leaks yet.
BTW: This is the WHITE tank with a BLACK cap isn't it?

Bigmurf is possibly correct on the pump availability ... there may be an issue with the electrical when you update the pump ... can't remember if 02's had the trombetta electric solenoid or not. As for bleeding the system ... once all back together and fluid topped off, simply cycle the slides full stroke in and out 3 - 4 times ... the system is self bleeding.

Had to replace pump assembly.Leak as between tank & pump body.New pump uses a rectangular tank assembly. Guess either start solenoid or pump motor was bad,not able to run motor. Thanks for info.

Contact Lippert and they will send you a parts list for your pump.
Good luck!
