My 3000 RK manufactured 5/07 has had both black and grey tanks crack around the outlet flange. I've repaired them 4 times now. The last time I used an ABS repair kit from a vendor in Colorado. It held for a long time then I started getting leakage again when nearly full. I haven't determined this time where the leak is coming from, my repair or elsewhere.

The only other major issue has been the graphics horribly peeling. Just the stickers depicting the mountains while the plain striping is still holding up.

Have done the same repair around flange several times with ABS repair kit. Seems that after the repair is done if you let the tank get full the tank flexes and it cracks repair. So for now i dont let it get full at all.

I want to replace tank, LOOKING FOR SOURCE TO BUY NEW TANK, CAN ANYONE GIVE LOCATION FOR THIS

You will have to call the Keystone service center In Goshen.provide them with year, model and VIN # they will be able to tell you who made the tanks and the proper numbers. the vend or is no doubt in Goshen or Elkhart. You will have to order through Keystone.i

2005, 3400 RL - black tank failed in 2007. Just simply began to leak. Had to drop all the insulation sheets, and replace with a new tank. I was chicken and hired it done, just simply due to the nature of the tank.

We had the galley tank fail in February 2013 and had it replaced in April. 2013. Used the Monty for about 14 nights then headed south in November. We were about 2 weeks into the trip and and it started to leak again. I only let it get about 3/4 full then emptied it for the rest of the winter. Had it repaired in April again but this time had 3 straps welded across the frame to help support it. Hopefully that will put an end to the problems.

2007 3000 Rk, I've had 2 tank failures. They both stayed in the brackets holding them.
The grey tank was resting on a cross brace that held the bottom cover.
It cracked in 2 places.
The galley tank cracked at the outlet fitting. I ordered the tank repair kit. So far, it's held. I'm 50/50 so far. Bill

We don't know whether we have a cracked tank on or 3700RL or not. After we move we have a heavy sewer smell around the rig which tends to dissipate within a day or two at our new location. The higher the ambient temperature the stronger the smell. There is no evidence of liquid dripping under the rig nor do we see anything out of place. We drain all tanks prior to moving the rig and use the black tank flush until the water runs clear.

2007 3400RL, Galley tank cracked at the outlet connection, I repaired the crack and to solve the problem, then installed 2 flex-connectors. (The Black rubber section with two hose clamps.) They relieve the stress when full/empty, and bouncing down the road, relieving the stress on the pipe and tank.
They don't crack for no reason, the stress on the rigid drain pipe with the tank getting full, then empty is the reason. I guess..
I know a tank can be weak from poor construction as well, and split at the seam, but many folks have the crack at the outlet drain spud.
Mine is good so far..
Got the tank repair kit from Amazing Amazon. I think it was around $35.00, but with my CRS, who knows..

We were surprised that the two tanks that failed on this 13 big Sky did not fail at the inlet were all of the tanks on our 06 3400 failed. IMO these failures were defects in the tanks. I have pictures that we will take to the tank manufacturer when at the fall rally.

Fixed the original problem? Did Keystone do something different on the new units to prevent the stress at the inlets?

The tours at the plant did not indicate anything different. The tank manufacturer said the tanks were designed to have support and Montana and Forest River did not do that.

We had the Keystone tech check our black tank at the Fall Rally. Sure enough there was a crack that Keystone took care of before we left Goshen.

Model/Year? 2008 3400RL
Which tank(s) failed? Bathroom Gray tank
Did they drop down, and if so could you see them sagging underneath? Did not drop down
If they didn't drop down, did they just start leaking? Yes, across one of the ribs on the bottom of the tank a crack just happened. The leak was slow in the beginning, but increased with time.
