Problems with new 3000RK

We have owned our new 3000RK since March 22nd.Many more problems than with our past Montana a 2001 2880RL purchase used in 2002.It had been used less than a year and was like new, and no problems after 8 yrs of use. For 4 yrs we used it sparingly because we weren't retired.
The new trailer bought was a trailer on the lot and had been used at two RV shows. It took that long to convince my wife we "needed" it. First, one chair had a hole in the arm and thecouch had some frays in the seating area. They ordered new chairs and couch and they came in damaged last week in transit. Have to reorder new ones. Damaged front leg (replaced), torn screen in Fantatic fan and dent right rear.We like trailer, disappointed in quality and problems so far.

Sounds like all of the problems are cosmetic and should have been found during the pre-delivery inspection and addressed before you took possession. Sounds like everything should be covered by warranty regardless. Be sure to work all the bugs out and get any needed repairs addressed during the warranty period. Hopefully, the dissapointments will now be over and you can get on with enjoying the rig!!

Those two RV shows with all the people wandering in and out of it can cause many of those problems. As Bingo stated, they all should be covered under warranty. They all sound like minor cosmetic annoyances.

Those are a problem, but minor or cosmedic, at least it nothing serous like a cracked frame or a slide not working, just use what you got untill the new stuff comes and then let them deal with it.freys and all.

I looked inside the front compartment for cracked welds and everything looked fine. After my wife complaing about poor customer service they started caling weekly to update about furniture. After traveling over 2000 miles and not properly tied down the new chairs and couch had rub marks from transport. Trie new battery in remote, still would not work. Will have to make appointment to see what is wrong. We did the PDI in a rainstorm and didn't look as close as I should have. We had looked the trailer over pretty good I thought at the 2 shows it was in. Not good enough. I love the Mor/Ryde suspension; doesn't clank when taking off and it does pull nice. Weighed it after hooking up at dealer with 65 gals of water and I had 50# to spare on my GVW of truck. My 2880RL I was 600# over. We have a 3 month trip to the east coast starting in August and can't wait to get started.

make sure you watch the drawer underthe fridge. You might want to modify the track frame for it. My drawer started to fall down after two trips. I took it out and made a new frame for the sliders and put a frame board in the back where the back fo the drawer rests down to the floor. We have had no other problems with our unit in the last 3 years.

Our drawer under the fridge did the same thing Okie Guy's did and more, the bottom fell out. I can't really blame it on the drawer though, we had it loaded heavier than it was designed to handle. This drawer will also open when on the move and you won't know it until you run the slides out and hear the crunch. I took the advice of another member and put a child safety catch on it.

Will have to watch the drawer, but my wife doesn't have it loaded up to heavy. Got my remote to work (my error since I didn't follow instructions). Still waiting on new chairs and couch.

We love our 3000RK, but as stated you need a child lock or such on the drawer below the refri., will come out and you can't see it till after you tried to slide out the large slide. Only other thing we do is put a small bungie cord around the upper rear center cabnits, our came open on some rough roads and a fast stop.
Good luck
