RV fridge on the way out

We have a Montana 3440rl 2016. The refrigerator is a norcold 2118x and it does not keep food cold or ice cream frozen. We want to replace with a residential one. We can not locate dimensions in our manuals,so does anyone have suggestions as to where to find them? We also would like a suggestion on best brand? Thank you in advance for the help. Camp On!

Double check, as you should have gotten an owners manual specifically for the frig, dimensions are there; if not maybe someone with the same frig can respond. You can also tape measure the height and width pretty easy, depth is the challenge. I would bet you can also find the owners manual on line. Re Brand, will be driven by a unit that will fit in your space, that is the hard part depending on your floorplan, island, slideout etc.

You might want to call Norcold Customer service first they can be very helpful. The cooling coils on our 13 3402 did go bad and we replaced them with the quality Amish unit and no [problem with anything since.

We have the same floor plan and fridge. Once our unit fails I intend to replace the cooling unit with one from JC Refrigeration. The opening of the area is just to limiting to find a residential unit that will fit without extensive creativity. Because we have significant battery capacity I will probably go with a DC compressor option but the double cooling lp/AC unit is also appealing.

Measure the height and width of the space and shop for a counter depth unit of your choice. The Samsung like comes in new Montana units should fit if someone could give you that model number. Does not have to be bought from RV dealer where it would be more expensive!
