Rendezvous on the Rio Grande

Don't know what happened to earlier thread of same name. Don't have much access to internet at this time. Did want to hand off the topic to those interested.

Summary:

Earlier discussion showed that it will be in February before enough interested folks for a meeting of Montana Owners Club Members would garner the best attendance.

We (Random Line and Fredrica) will be in Louisiana after Jan 29th so if there is a meeting arranged we will miss it this year but will attend next year if it gets to be an annual event.

Having said that I must abandon this terminal to on of the Library Patrons waiting here at the Harlingen Public Library.

Having great time and reasonable weather here at San Benito.

Six Montanas in our small (Pan Am) RV Park. No MOC members besides us.

Take care.

Al and I are still in Michigan. We both came down with this irritating virus that causes coughing and tiredness. Half the time you feel ok, but sleep a lot and cough a lot. Grrrrr.

Between that and horrid weather, we are now looking at early next week as the SOONEST we can even think of getting out of here. Friday night to Saturday we are expecting upwards of 6 inches, and south of here in Ohio and Indiana, they are saying 6 to 12 inches.

We hope to still get to the Rio Grande, but someone else better reserve a room for this little get together, or plan on going to a restaurant where reservations can be made.

Hope to see ya all there, SOON!

Carol

Al & Carol,

Hope you feel better soon! Safe travels.

I see some other brands of campers scheduling luncheon meetings for their groups at various eateries here in the Valley. May be a good and easy way to go. Good Luck. Hope to see you around here next year.

Carol

Jim and Fredrica, We sure were looking forward to seeing you folks again. In your travels through Texas, yell if you will be around Beaumont. I am in Port Arthur working this week, and maybe we can have dinner or something.

If not, be safe and we will catch you guys next time.

Sorry we didn't read your message in time. We did go right by you with an extra day on our hands. Would have enjoyed visiting with you again.

We are at Biloxi now and enjoying the weather and of course the food.

Hope you get down to the vally ok and meet some more new and some of the earlier Montana acquaintances from the Rally.

We plan to leave here about Mar. 15 and get back to SD about Apr 1st.
Two weeks of travel on a random line of course.

Say hello to our friends at the Rendezvous for us.

And travel safe.
