Having an 04 2955, I have also wondered why the differences.
The 06 is longer by 11" (32'11") and taller by 9" (12'11") the 05 is listed at 32' & 12'9" (BTW--My 2955RL is 34' 3" never actually measured the height)
The 06 weighs more than the 05 by 195#--- 06 - 9575, 05 - 9380
But 195# would not account for the 590# difference in the Carrying Capacity--- 06 - 2410, 05 - 3000
And the hitch weight in the 06 is 1825 where in the 05 it was 1980
The 04 had a weight of 9380 just like the 05
The 04 carrying capacity was 2760 right between the 05 and 06
The 04 hitch weight was 1980 just like the 05
I will be watching this post to hopefully find some answers.
