Cleaning FANTASTIC Fan Blades

Is there any way of cleaning the Fantastic Fan Blades other than
getting on the roof?

I use a 6 foot step ladder on the kitchen floor of the rig (but the floorplan probably helps) while the rig is parked in the driveway at the stickhouse. Even though I'm only 5' 9", I can get up high enough to vacuum the dust or use a damp cloth on the Fantastic Fan. I've never even thought of doing it from the roof, but maybe I'll try it (once) since I wouldn't have to worry about balancing on the ladder at the same time.

I take the screws out, clean the screen and the blades, fairly easy process. If it's the high one in the kitchen be careful on that ladder.

The screen pops out from the inside on mine. The first time that I had to take it off, it was hard to get it to come off, but it does come out.

Turn the fan on high and hit it with a garden hose from below?

Here are the instructions from the manufacturers website. Not too hard to find.

There are 2 different types of screen assemblies, the older fans have screws that hold the screens on, and the newer models have screens that simply pop out.

Edit:

Here is a link to a .pdf file that you can download and save on your computer.
