Fiberglass filings on camper floor

When we went to use our Montana this weeknd there was a pile of fiberglass filings on the floor under the dining room window in places up to an inch in height. Are there termites or insects that attack/eat termites and if so, any recommendation on how to exterminate them?

I'm assuming you mean insects that eat foam or fiberglass, not to my knowledge. You haven't parked near a nuclear reactor lately have you? Sorry couldn't resist that. The only thing I can think of is that maybe you have a rodent making a nest. Several folks have reported problems with rodents in the space between the ceiling and the roof. Others may be along with other ideas.

I could be all wet, but I don't think termites like fiberglass. I'd more lean towards something is loose and the road vibration is grinding away at something or construction byproducts have vibrated out of the window frame. Interesting that the fiberglass filings are on the inside ... there is insulation and panneling between the fiberglass exterior and your carpet. Let us know what the outcome is.

Unfortunately it is not from road vibration because our camper has been idle all summer due to busy schedule with a new grandchild, illness, and work schedule. I will keep looking for clues but I found no "fiberglass eating" insect when I was Googling our problem. Thanks for your concern and reply. Appreciate it!

Puzzler. Just a guess, but if a new unit, could it be production scrap that has vibrated to the floor?
