MikeM,
Great solution...now, why didn't I think of that?
Thank you, good information that I can use later.

A water witch allows you to connect a hose without the appropriate end to you hookups. Only cost a couple of bucks from CW.

After three years of using the Sewer Solution I just can't see any reason to use the stinky slinky.

I have the Sewer Solution and am very pleased with the way it performs and its ease of use.
The only problem; if you are planning on dumping in the public dump, you need to carry the old 3" hose.....so, I am now carrying two systems. When I have a choice, I use the sewer solution.

Been using Blueline since day one. In 4 1/2 years I am on my second hose.
I don't like the Slinky but do have one. Only use it for very short runs (3 to 4 feet). Normally I have my Blueline cradled in PVC with blocks to get the right pitch.
Having said that, just this past week we had a neighbor sell his Cedar Creek and all other RV stuff as they are moving to Hawaii. Among some of his accessories was 2 sections of the Rhino hose with all the fittings. This hose and fittings was less that a month old. I bought the whole thing for 10 bucks. After a very thorough cleaning it looks brand new
I have been set up for nearly 6 months with just 6 weeks to go and so I haven't hooked up the Rhino but you can bet the next time we set up the sewer hose the Rhino will be in place.

Check out Valterra's new EZ Coupler red hoses, has swivel couplers already on the hoses, come in different lengths. Easy to hook 2 hoses together. Kerry

We can't use the cheap hoses because they freeze and crack in about an hour. Are you familiar with "elephant trucks" that the city will use to suck out a sewer drain? If so, you have seen the black and green hose wrapped around the front of the truck. Well, we went to a rubber supply store in Anchorage and bought eee-gads amount of it. It's not cheap. Over $5.00 a foot, but it WILL NOT freeze and crack. Fits our needs perfectly.
