Water coming from underbelly??

Have a Montana 3761FL and we just left a camp site. Noticed "soapy" water coming from underbelly as we were disconnecting everything. Flushed black tank and dumped both grays. Wondering where the water is coming from???

* we have a portable washer hooked up at the washer/dryer hookups in the closet (which shares a wall with 1/2 bath). Used it a few times but dumped tanks right after.

* used rig's flush system and flushed day before leaving. Plus did not use 1/2 bath at all

* no water in storage bays or inside rig that isn't supposed to be there.

Most likely a cracked/split tank leaking into underbelly. Drop the coroplast, watch out for a flood of water, and look for the break.

I wasn't sure but suspected that myself. Guessing it's from one of the gray tanks? Thanks!

Yup, soapy water indicates a grey tank and likely the one tight there by the drain line.

We had the same issue, it was a leaking valve. Drill a small hole first to drain water so you don't get a bath when you cut the bottom open to access.

I had a similar situation 2 years ago. It wasn't the grey (bathroom) tank that was cracked, it was the actual pipe that connected to the tank. But the break was after the blade valve, so when ever I dumped the grey tank, water came shooting out of the discharge pipe, but it also poured out the bottom of the camper.

Does your leak all the time, or only when you empty the tank? If only after, then the break is after the valve and there is nothing wrong with your tank itself. If it drips all the time, then the leak is before the valve slide.

Either way, you are going to have to remove, or create an opening so you can see what's actually going on. Until then, everyone is just guessing what is causing the problem.

Once you open the underbelly Coloplast, fill the tank with water and then you will see where the break, leak, or crack is actually at. There's no short cut. This is what you have to do if you want to get it fixed.

Good luck!

Soapy water

Hello,
A few months ago, i walked outside after DW drained the kitchen sink from dishwater. I saw soapy water, and it was dripping from the sink area. Our model doesn't have a galley tank on that side. I looked under the sink and found the problem. The trap under the kitchen sink came loose and all the dishwater emptied into the cabinet. Anytime we move, I check the trap.

Check Seal at Top of Tank

One more leak point to check. In our 2017 Montana 3950BR, when the grey tank got full, it would leak at the top of the tank where the house piping entered the tank. On ours it is not a threaded or glued seal, but the pipe is pushed into a rubbery gasket. When the tank overfills, it leaks out around that pipe and collects in the underbelly. It's only a problem if the tank overfills.

We are experiencing the same issue. Our pass through floor on the off door side is soft & grey water pours out of colorplast. We have an appointment with Affinity to locate the leak & repair the damage.i noticed the last time camping that the bathroom started smelling like stale shower water. We were on full hookups & the hubby had dumped the tanks numerous times. When I raised the front to help the black tank drain, grey water came pouring out. I’m guessing we have a leak under the shower or possibly the holding tank itself.

I need to add that on a prior trip when backflushing the tank water came pouring out from underneath the front left corner. So I think that was the trip where the leak developed.

You may try to pull down the divider wall in the basement and check your shower drain. On mine, there is a HEPVO valve instead of a P Trap. It comes loose from time to time while travelling and will do what you are describing. Especially when the gray tank is full and backing up to the valve.
