I see no reason for CGs to close unless it's a rally which would violate the recommendation for gatherings of no more than 10 people.

I wish the MSM would tell us the whole story and not tailor it to their message. Our news gave us a death report that seemed a bit high....found out it was from ALL forms of flu virus not just the Covid-19.

Travel - we are not going anywhere until this pandemic is under control. Anything else to me where we live is irresponsible. We will need to do some grocery shopping though. Any doctor's appointments - cancelled. I'm past due for a haircut - guess I might get to see myself with a pony tail or let my wife practice on me instead of our two poodlepups.

We live in an Upstate NY county where the virus count has gone from 3 last week to 41 today. Albany County, just about 8 miles south has 123 cases and in both cases, just the ones reported so far. A story I read earlier noted numbers of reported cases and deaths. The death percentage was .013% - but feel that it's a fictitious number after Italy and elsewhere. We'll see.

So far, I'm looking at this state shutdown to do some long neglected chores on the S&B, my truck and as soon as it warms up, the 5er (supposed to snow tomorrow). I also have a couple fun wood working projects.

"Has the Corona virus thing caused anyone to change their Spring and Summer plans for this year?"

Nope, not yet.

We are going to cancel our spring trip (Apr 17) which is out of state. We can deny the uncomfortable reality that this unpleasant reality is spreading at an exponential rate? And pretend it will have no effect on such things as our happy RV lifestyle? And realize that everywhere we go these days, there has been no testing and we have no idea whether those we come in contact with are or are not carriers? Ask yourself: How is it that we are seeing an exponential spread from town to town, state to state? As we travel we can't help but come into contact with other people and touch surfaces all over the place. We are trying to curb the spread of this stuff by limiting our movements. I hate it but, it's real. Denial can be disastrous.

We are full timers and following our plan to start traveling on April 1st. Have called the parks we have reservations and all are open. We don't have much choice since our home is where we travel. Hope everyone stays safe!

As a Canadian I'm glad they have closed the border between the US and Canada for tourists. We need to do our parts to cure this bug...and that includes you!

We were on vacation in Myrtle beach and decided to come home . Not that we couldn’t self contain our selves but our kids were worried about us and our health .
FYI Pirateland is not what it is cracked up to be. Yes everything is closed or restricted, It the sites were over grown with weeds and what grass there was, it looked like it had not been mowed for weeks.
Basically the pictures you see on the internet are not what you see when you arrive . ☹️

How do you not have a choice. Your home is where you 'Park It' so it would be safer for everyone if you would do just that. Traveling across the country while this virus is rampant puts everyone in danger. I can wait to travel and if there is anything i missed so be it. I can understand if someone is wanting to get back to there home turf but to be traveling the country and having a good time while millions are trying to hunker down to help prevent this virus from spreading is certainly not being responsible.

We just arrived at a second private park in a row. Plenty of space thanks to those who want to stay home. About to extend our trip since contact with others is way less than at home. It seems the jerks stayed home since everyone we come across is on this trip is OK.

We had a grand tour of the west planned for this summer beginning April 15th with 35 stops over 6 months. Reservations made at all of them. I think we will reschedule for 2021 and not chance getting stuck on the road. I am not sure how many deposits we will lose. I think we would be just as isolated on the road as here at the house but with everything shutting down and possible citizen unrest as this goes on, it is best to stay home. This may go on for a year or more. If it lightens up in the fall we may take a short trip.

We canceled our spring trip. As of now Indiana is restricting travel. We are to leave in 75 days for a 3 month trip to Alaska. A lot of calm will need to happen prior to that trip taking place.

I still need to get home

I’ve been in Florida for four months. I think I may need to stay here then go back to New York. More cases there then here.

Excuse me but how do you define "Jerks"? That's pretty crude and self serving.

Will wait and see. Would not expect life would be much different in the rig or at home - will stay in place with either and not engage with people except when needed.

I’m planning to carry enough fuel with me to go non stop other then pit stops for the dogs and the wife and I. Those stops will be in the wee hours of the morning.
Or I just stay here and cook in the summer sun.?

I am 73 my wife is 71. We are in voluntary lock down in Northern California. We are not rving this summer not out of fear but because we want to stay near our children and grandchildren. I served 2 tours in Vietnam and death is not new to me. I believe if people want to rv in this climate I say more power but know the risks.
