Seasonal Camping

Just wondering, does anyone keep their rigs at a campground for the season? We have been seasonal for the last 3 years in the Catskills, NY at a small private campground on a river, it makes a great jump off point. For us it works well as we have another 2 years before we can retire & travel. The 381 works out with the garage for storage & we can keep our bikes in there without taking up living space. Its easy enough to pick up & go if need be, but we have another toy hauler we use for off roading trips for now. What we like like is the sense of community & friendship you get as most of the same people come back each year, also my wife likes that she can go midweek without having to tow & set up. So for us the low cost, ease of use & meeting up with friends & family makes it very enjoyable right now.

We full time, but we still have two places like that. One in Kansas for visiting the kids, grand kids and great grand kids as well as touring the midwest and east during the summer and one in New Mexico for touring the west. Since we own both sites it lets us keep clothes and dishes at each end and not have to travel with everything on board.

We have maintained a seasonal site in Florida for past 14 years, six month snowbird season.
