GS Roadside Service
As we pulled in to Stone Mt., Ga, we discovered a diesel fuel leak at the fuel filter. I called GS to see if they could help. They dispatched a mobile mechanic ( which was costly) but they came out and fixed it. GS kept check on us and actually agreed to pay for service call and diesel cleanup. I had to pay for 2hrs min labor and parts. Kudos to Kevin at GS.

Steve, sorry to hear of your issue but glad you got good service. I had a similar problem on my '99 F-250 and found it was caused by the replacement filter with cap that I used. I bought a new Purolator filter for the '99 F Super Duty 7.3 diesel. The filter came with it's own cap for the filter can. So, not knowing any better, I installed it. Well, turns out the cap that Purolator used didn't fit correctly. I had fuel all over the floor the next morning. Any chance you may have used one of those Purolator filters? Anyway, have a great summer and hope to see ya in Tenn.

Don't know what was on there, but put a Duralast on this time. The cap was the problem. I think that my mechanic cross threaded the cap when he put it on because the gasket was not seated right and it was spraying out from under the cap. Getting ready to travel 5hours back home so I home we have no more issues. Fingers crossed.

Glad to hear they helped. The one time I went to use them, they wouldn't help because it was caused by vandalism (punctured tire sidewall). Dropped them for roadside.
