Slide awnings opening during travel

Has anyone had this happen, going down the road and slide awning billows. I have had it happen three times. but only on one of the three awnings installed. We have a 3100RL, the awning on the kitchen/couch is the largest and the slide giving problems. Was told by a repair Tech, that the top of the slide is moving a very small amount, but enough to let the lock release on the awning. His fix was to place a 2/2 between inside wall and back of trim when slide was in and ready for travel. However on the 3100RL there is not enough room to get past the counter, when slides are pulled in.
Any thoughts, suggestions?
