Done, Hurricane is just a few miles from Zion NP. Did you get into the park? Or have you already been there before? Good luck. Keep enjoying that new Dodge. I continue to be amazed at how ours tows this Montana.

Ray wse stayed at a place called Santa Fe Skies RV Park it was a good place, very clean, no cable hook up, no Wifi, a dish is a must, mostly upper class type A's big rigs. and if you want a good meal the Santa Fe Brewery has great food and atmosphere. I would go there again .
Steve we went to old town Santa Fe looked at the historic churches and monuments. we have been to Zion Brice and enjoyed every minute about 4 days worth. then we visited Best Friends animal shelter. enjoyed that too. so it was a overnighter in Hurracane.

Don, I went back and read your complete post and we were at Santa Fe Skies over the weekend also. We rolled in on Thursday and and left on Tuesday morning. We ended up with a sick dog, I just listed it in the pet section so we were there a little longer than planned.
We were in Daylilly 1, which is the first space on the left as you enter the park. I probably saw you drive in and out a few times. Sorry the truck didn't connect with me.

Bummer Ray, I seen you Monty there too. sorry to hear that your dog was sick, I hope it's feeling better now. I dont normally interduce myself at campgrounds, bashfull.......... I guess. I'll have to fly the MOC flag and buy some more bumper stickers for the new truck.
How about those thunder and lightning storms? that realy shows a person how mother nature can crack the whip.
got to go and get some fuel now we leave Needles CA tomorrow thank God the whole vacation was mostly cold and wet the whole month except for here temp is bumping the 100's too hot for me. I want to get home to the cooler temps, which will be tomorrow.

That was some impressive lightning, it knocked out the satellite for about 1/2 hour. If I had known you were there I would have tracked you down because my wife grew up in Norwalk and we lived there for about 10 years in the 80's. I figure we are like old neighbors.
Maybe next time.
