Heading to the RGV

It is that time again. We are heading to the RGV via Port Huron, MI. on Saturday morning. Will catch up on the forum when we get to McAllen, Tx. I expect we will be meeting Wiarton William in Port Huron on Saturday.

All the best to both you and Wiarton William. You timing could not be better considering the weather forecast! We won't be able to leave until mid January at the best, and we are not looking forward to heading south at that time of the year. We will settle for Gulf Shores, AL again this winter, it will be too late to bother heading further afield.

Have good winter, we really miss those RGV grapefruit!

Timing is every thing.....Report on CNN HN this morning that gasoline was $1.79/gal in Edinburg. Know that this will make Carol happy as well as many other folks.

Carol: Yes we are pulling the Big Sky. Don't forget to look us up when you get down. We are 4 houses up the street on the right hand side.

Come on down, guys. The weather is clear and the temperature was 33 degrees F at sunrise in central Texas. Diesel was 3.199 at Woody's in Centerville the last time I bought.

Have a safe trip and enjoy your new home in the RGV. Port Huron has a great Golden Coral at the northern end. It's in front of Meijer and Wal-mart.
