Arrived in the RGV...

Arrived yesterday afternoon in the RGV. Decided to stay at a park in Le Feria midway between South Padre, Brownsville, and Mission to do some exploring before we settle in at BPV for the winter.
Weather is a bit rainy and cloudy in the 60's today but supposed to be sunny and high 70's low 80's during the week.
Got here a little earlier than expected but kept pushing southeast as the weather stayed cold up north. Averaged 150 to 200 miles per driving day, with stops of two to three days or more at each park. Left Sacramento Sept. 15th.
For a newbie, all in all a very easy pull from Northern Calif. to here. Roads were mostly good, a few bumpy sections. Managed to pass thru major cities either on weekends or middays, avoiding rush hour traffic.
5er and TV operating well, no issues, except I need to find a place to wash both vehicles !!!!,

jerry

Jerry,
Happy to hear you made it there safe and sound. I only wish I too could be heading your way to enjoy a second round of summer in the valley. Enjoy!

Glad to hear that you've arrived safely, Jerry and Karen. That's a nice traveling pace, less than 200 miles with a break in between. Check things out in the valley and keep us updated on all the big happenings. We plan to join you in Jan.
