New Mexico highway 117

I am thinking of using this south of Gallup until it hits 36 and eventually US 60. Is this road okay?

117 connects to grants, not gallup...but I have never been on it. No trucking restrictions listed in my 2007 truckers maps and no low clearance noted. 36 is listed as a restricted truck route from nm 603 to nm 53. John
