No splinters

Found a remnant of vinyl linoleum at Lowes for twenty dollars. It was $170 worth (12' x17'). Cut a 4' x 4' piece for the under-the-bed storage. Cut another piece for the top of the bed frame and stapled them down. No splinters in things stored and the bed slides for better bed making--no splinters in the matress.

Lady came along who wanted the remaining length to use in her house so I sold it to her for $20. She was ecstatic and thanked me profusely. Net cost of improvement---free.

Stiles, I should introduce you to my Brother-in-law! He lives for deals like that. He goes to Garage Sales and buys ALL kinds of stuff and sells on E-bay or his own G Sales. Something to look for are old Reel Mowers. He finds them for as little as $5. Cleans them up and then sells for as much as $75. He waits till he has about 10 or the Lady he lives with mentions his collection. Runs ad in paper, time usually 2 hours on Sat, location and thats all, NO Phone number. He also takes names and contacts them when he gets one or more. Also the Catchers bring as much as $30.
