Kitchen slide loss of 12 volts

Without 12 volts, the fridge won't work.
So, I just got in from the rain and dark. Fuses were good. Trying to find the issue, I was tracing/following wires thru the slide, inside and out. I found out that power of all kinds comes to the slide thru the rear end of the slide. Come to find out, there are a pair of BUTT SPLICES tucked loosely under the outside wall of the slide. Not easy to find but covered with crud.(dirt, wet, corrosion). One wire was broken off completely. Easy fix, short term for tonight. Will fix permanently in dry day light.
I hate butt splices because they cause problems like this all the time!
Hopefully this will help others if they have a similar problem.

Great that you found the problem and was able to make temporary repairs. Thanks for the run down. I wouldn't have known where to start.
