Branson, Missouri
We leaving May 18th for Branson.
Two other couples are going with us.
Silver Dollar City is having a BBQ and Bluegrass festival the last two weeks of May. We are getting a season pass and will be able to go each day for the two weeks we are there whenever we want to.
They are having alot of big bluegrass stars performing.
Looking forward to some good picking and grinning.

Outstanding! I could listen to some good pickin' all day long and every day. I probably wouldn't do anything else is the problem, 'ceptin' eatin' some BBQ. Unfortunately DW wouldn't and she's a dangerous shopper.
LOL, I like your slogan ("an Okie caught in Texas").
Regarding your link showing your snowcamping, what did you do to prevent your water supply from freezing?

When the temp got down in the 20's I had to disconnect the hose from the RV and use the internal water tank. No problem with freezing the internals.
Looking forward to some good music both at Silver Dollar City and at the campground.

If your looking for a good park Oak Grove was a very friendly place to stay when we were there last year. Close to the strip and great hosts.

Doh! that's right Dannyl... to prevent water freezing use the fresh water tank. I forgot about that method. Thanks for the reminder.
Have fun in Branson.

BBQ and Bluegrass festival? Doesn't get any better.

We are not country western or bluegrass fans at all but Branson is a place one just has to experience. We are not gamblers but have been to LV several times.. Adventure is where you find it...
