Vidalia Louisiana

We caravaned from Conroe Texas to Vidalia yesterday, March 12. We are staying at River View RV Park with a great view of the Mississippi and walking paths all along the levee. There is a Montana parked just two rows from us and hope to introduce ourselves today.

While traveling from Conroe to Vidalia we passed two other Montanas going the other direction. We took Texas 63 until we came to a detour for a low bridge. (12 feet 3 inches) We then took Texas 87 to US 190 before heading back north on US 171. The remainder of the journey found us on Louisiana 28. Most of the roads were two lane but good roads with shoulders.

Hi Mark and Susanne, we have enjoyed staying at the River View park. Of course, coming from NORTH east Texas, we come across Louisiana on US 84 to Vidalia. We have also stayed at the Natchez State Park over the river in Mississippi. It's a bit out of the way, north of the route east, but a very nice park.

So where are you headed? And what is you caravan all about?

Shirley's home is Magnolia, Texas so Conroe is familiar to us.

Shucks, we missed y'all. We just got to Willis. TX yesterday.
Conroe, Willis, Montgomery, are all nice areas. And all are withing 100 miles of us.

Next time let us know when you are in the area, we don't mind drive a distance for a good lunch. Heck! We don't measure by distance in Texas, but by time.
