We did it
We made it to Ocean Lakes Campground in Myrtle Beach. We will be here for three whole weeks.  . This is the longest we have stayed in one place since leaving San Diego last March. Boy does it ever feel good.  The sun is shining and the weather looks real good for th next week. I can finally get my sandals back out. Oh how I hate to wear shoes and socks. I think I will let Bill just sit back while I do all the driving for awhile.

So glad to hear you made it safely. Enjoy that warm weather!!! 
I noticed today Colorado has a blizzard warning out, glad I am not down there. I finally had to put the shorts away, temps are only getting into the 50's during the day and down to 30 at night. Might have to start plugging the truck in again. Enjoy your extended stay....

Helen,
It is 11:00 PM and it is 73F here near Austin Texas. We don't get really cold until January, so come on over and enjoy Texas for a couple of months with out the humidity of Florida.
Glad that you are letting those tootsies breathe.

We are on our way to Yuma, in Needles right now visiting friends. Its good to be in the warm weather again, get rid of longjohns socks and shoes for the winter. We will be at Los Quintas for the winter. (your favourite Helen!)

Way to go Helen. Enjoy those balmy days of sunshine. The weather here in Texas is still great for shorts, especially after living in Canada for 5 years. However, we are off to Tucson for some warmer weather. Have a wonderful trip.

Glad to hear that you guys arrived safely and are in such a beautiful place. We were last there the day of Bobby Kennedy's assassination so I think we're due for another visit soon. It's a great place and it would be really nice to be in warmer weather. Have fun!
