Our water heater developed the leak in 2016. I replaced it then and the new one is still working well with no leaks. I do replace the anode annually, regardless of what it looks like and flush the tank several times a year, and we full time. The water heaters made by Suburban seem to be a quality product, but just like anything made by humans, there will always be a bad one occasionally.

Your 2022 has an Atwood water heater so this one isn't a Suburban problem.
