Well we just came back from Silent Valley RV Park, Boumont area, CA. we left on 6/22/06 and returned on 7/2/06. What a long long stay, The tempuratures were in the realy high 90's and some times hitting 105 in the shade. The flies were relentless, It's time to buy a screen room and a ossolating fan that would have helped. I also put up misters on the awning, and believe it or not it did help keep the flies down in that area but raised the humidity in that area.
The park had a power loss on Saturday the 1st. 12 hrs. long starting at 1330 hrs. Saturday and ending at 0200 hrs. Sunday morning .12.5 hrs. Problem was Edison Co. ( again ) reason unknown. just another power grid lost again I guess.
We did see a few Montana's up there,
I didnt get a chance to talk to any of them ( Just Shy )
I guess. I'll try harder next time.
It seems that when ever I plan on a trip the heat followes me wherever I go very depressing.
But other than all the heat the stay was good
I sure hope that the next trip up there is cooler we'll try again in late Sept/October hopefully it will be cooler and less flies.
Well I have been snowed in, have had a heat wave, Now I guess I'll have a flood waiting for us on our next trip up there.
have a Happy 4th everybody.
