Are you volunteering Ann again . Thanks guys for your offer.
We are getting there a week before to get familiar with the area. Would get there sooner, but I have the spring burial for my Mom to do. This will be our first "real" camping outing this year. Have been out, but only to make sure the rig has no problems. So far, so good. Except the sofa bed. They have ordered a new one for us.
The truck spent a day in the GM garage in Virginia. Always something.

We smelled the problem before we knew we had one. Fluid was leaking from the rear seal of the axle on the right side. The smell was like burning tar. I thought at first it was the Montana. Would have been dangerous to pull the unit back up route 81 to home here in NY. So there we were stuck in Va., useless cell phones, but thank goodness for OnStar. Was able to contact our dealer, GM and they found us a dealer who could fix it in one day.
Had the exact same problem a few years ago with a brand new motor home, but had to leave that at a rest stop in PA. Fun backing two dogs, two cats, a cooler and what we could into a Saturn.
This time was better. Had my daughters there.
Campground owners didn't even offer to let us use their phone. Going to try to find another campground, Passport America or not, when we go back down this summer.

Carol, sorry to hear about your troubles, but glad to hear things are okay. What campground were you staying at? This would be a "good-to-know" tidbit for those traveling I-81. Next time you are traveling that route, try Creekside Campground in Edinburg, VA. It's really small - only about 25 sites - but the folks are so friendly and it's so close to the quaint town. You will think you are lost as you follow the directions to the campground as you travel through a housing development, but the trip is easy. We camped there in our last Monty, a 3670, and will be there again in June in our new 3400. No problem fitting this size rig.

Carol and Chuck~
We made a mistake---instead of bring the sugar free pies to the meet and greet-we will bring those to the pot luck supper. Please change us to bringing some kind of finger food/appetizer type for the meet and greet ok? Sorry for the mix up!
Thanks~
