I think is they were my tires I would research them on line often and see what kind of service they are giving if good use them. If I found any trouble replaced them. Keep a close check on air pressure and any sign of trouble.

I did some research on the DOT numbers. MW (Sailun) is made by Shenyang Peace Radial Tyre Manufacturing Co , LTD. Trans Eagle is code 10 Nanking Rubber Industrial Co., LTD.

I'll keep the forum updated as to how they age.

BTW, just checked out Nanking. Been in the tire business for over 50 years. Based in Taiwan.

I went thru this with Westlake tires, asked about them, never did get any information I could live with, or any when I googled them that gave me any confidence in them. They looked identical to the Sailun ,all steel construction etc. So after 400 miles to get the fifth wheel home, I sold them ,and ordered a new set of Sailuns.

My point as said why experiment with a brand of tire no one knows much about . Just go with Sailun. Eventually some of these clones that look like the Sailuns ,may prove out. When the Sailuns came on the market, besides the G614 they were about the only game in town, so the choices were limited then. I see the reasons the OP is staying away from Sailun, none of them, and this may sound a bit harsh, but none of them hold much water.

Sometime when setting around the computer with nothing much to do, research just why Sailun got popular. It's not complicated, it was just being in the right place at the right time.

When TransEagle started building the two popular 16" LRG all steel tires they added a 15" LRF all steel tire to their inventory. Before many people knew about that 15" tire all of the other, all steel ST tire builders started building it. In a huge industry like tires, timing is nearly everything.
