Dicor makes a lap sealant for vertical surfaces. Those that have done it should chime in regarding type used. John

Well,Patrica is coming thru with 4" of rain since Friday and still coming down. Checked the slide today and it is leaking in both corners of the bedroom slide. It is leaking more on the right side toward the head of the bed than in the back left corner in the closet side. The slide is out. I suspect the floor has rotted underneath. It appears it leaks in heavy or steady rain. The dealer worked on it twice earlier and a mobile repairman once in Florida in April after a heavy rain. I checked it several times after the repair in April and did not find moisture. This slide needs a lot of work and by someone who knows what they are doing! Don't mean to high jack this thread but we all need to watch for these problems and pay close attention to repairs being done by others.

On my 2010 3455SA I had two difference leaks in a year on my Bedroom slide. The first leak was the top tape covering the screws on the outside edge. From bounding down the road the several screws were rubbed bare, That area was re-taped going up the side a bit.
After another 3 months of dry carpet we found dampness. This time I saw loose calk on the lower trim seam. This seam has no other seal that I can see but the Silicone Calk. I dug the old out and re-calked and the problem is gone again.
The first leak didn't take much rain to dampen the carpet corner as the any water on the top of the slide could find the screws that no protection. The second leak had to have the rain hit the vertical wall allowing the water run down towards the bottom of the slide and in the crack.

The bottom of the slide seem solid and no rotten area found.
