Alignment check

Took both Hannah and Vinnie in for alignment checks this morning. All the tire wear threads had me a bit concerned about the new G614's. Axles on Hannah checked perfect-no issues. Slight adjustment to Vinnie, but I knew he needed it before hand. No necesary parts replacement though-a true testament to good maintenance (grease) at 148,000 miles. We're ready for the road and it can't come soon enough.

Where did you have the alignment done at Kevin? Will be heading into MI towards Alpena towards the middle of next month. Would like to have that done on mine. Thanks

Dave

The shop is called Mr.FrontEnd. They do all vehicles from cars to over the road trucks and trailers. Both vehicles ran me $125.00. They are just off I-475 in Burton (Flint). (810)743-9981. They do all police vehicles for me at work. What I like about them is they don't just get it close enough-it's right when it leaves the shop. The owner has a shop in Florida as well-specializing in RV repair, I believe.

Sounds like you're doing everything right. Nice to start the year with peace of mind.

Thanks Kevin, looks like a stop by for some work on the unit. That is unless I decide to get the IS system, then we will wait until that is done. I may not do the IS until this fall. After work is done on trailer I plan on going to Fletchers Pond for the summer up near Alpena.

Thanks
Dave

Got ours done for $80 at a RV repair dealer in Alabama. Said they found no problems. Also had bearings repacked and brakes checked.

Well mine went to the shop here in FL and found the axels 5/8 " from side to side , That's why the tires only last 7000 miles Well we added a spring to the kit side and straightened out both axels to the correct camber and then added cams that can be easer to allighen next time and grease the hubs etc so it should be ready for our 8000 mile summer trip.
