Removing Dicor

Will be putting new Fatastic fan on the camper. What's the best way to remove and clean up the Dicor?

Plastic putty knife. I'd tell you what I used to finish removing what's left, but it goes against all warnings. OK, since I've done it 5 - 6 times with no customer returns I'll tell. Rag LIGHTLY moistened with mineral spirits then rinsed immediately with soapy water.

Use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm up the caulk makes it a lot easier to remove. Use a plastic scraper. Don't get carried away if uing a heat gun. It will be hot to touch but my heat gun even on low gets real hot so be careful.

I have found the heat gun solution the best approach.
