Transporter from Maine to Alaska
Looking for some knowledge. Anyone know of a company or contact to get my truck and Montana to Alaska? Might be relocating with work and will have to get the camper there myself. Thanks

You might contact Simmons RV in Anchorage. They are who I bought my rig from and they always seem to have a transporter around that they call on, or they might have a list of folks to call. Hope this helps....

If you get your rig to Tacoma Wa. you can ship with this company. Do not know the cost but they ship about once a week. I used to work very close to their terminal

I forgot about Tote, we had two vehicles shipped up there in the early 90's by the military. At the time it was about $2k each. I'm sure you can get a rate off their website. Don't know which would be cheaper/quicker. With Tote you would have to get it to the Seattle area. Maybe a transporter from Maine to Seattle, then the Tote, just a thought. Good luck!!!

Simmons RV is no longer around. They closed this fall. The economy. . .
Bernie and I had our truck shipped up from Georgia to Alaska a few years back. They did a great job. Sent it via semi to Seattle, then barged it to the dock in Anchorage. He's sick with a migraine right now, but when he's up and feeling better, I'll ask him who the company was.

I will bet that if you called Keystone customer service they could give you some good information . There are many transport cmpanies in the Elkhart area and they transport all over the country.

Got it. Bernie is feeling better and I asked him which transport company we used. He is pretty sure it was Alaska Auto Transport. Their information is: Alaska Auto Transport, 4600 Gambell Street, Anchorage, AK, (907) 222-6666ý. Hope this helps!
