Spray on bed liner--what's the best to get?

I'm looking to get a spray on bed liner for my 2007 F350 long bed when it shows up next month. Doing my research and see references to Line-X and RhinoLiner, among others. Would like to find out from those who have spray on liners what are the pros and cons of the different liners and which they would choose if they were putting a liner in their next pickup.

Thanks!!

I had Ziebart spray on bed liner on my 95 when it was new. But I think I'd go with Rhino Liner the next time.

I have the LIne-X sprayed in the bed and over the rails.very happy with it.Its held up great in the 2 years thats its been on.They have a nationwide warrenty also, which is nice.It was the first thing I got when I bought my truck.Spraying a little "303 protectant"on it every now and then makes it look brand spanking new.No chips-no cracks-no complaints.

I've be researching the same thing. Heard good things about Line-X, but don't have a dealer in the area. One of our truck outfitters uses ProLine...could not find it any where other than a few separate dealers. Have an appointment on Mon to get the Rhino. Their warranty is good nationwide and lifetime for the original owner. FYI, here are the prices I got for a long bed under rail: $475, $440, $425, and $389. As good luck would have it, the local guy is $389. Also, if you get a Rhino between 9/15 and 11/15 they'll give you a $25 discount. The discount is downloadable at: http://rhinolinings.com/RL/main/ Click on "Promotions."

I've got a Line-X liner that came was already installed on the truck I purchased. Been very pleased so far. Had a drop in liner in previous truck, but much prefer the spray on installation.

My DW's truck has a Rhino Liner, as did my last truck, nothing in this one yet. Two construction trucks with LineX, and one with Rhino. I can't say anything about other brands, but both of these are very dependable, extremely durable, and improve the integrity of the truck bed tremendously. I would recomend either one with favor given to neither.

I've had a Rhino liner for almost 8 years in my current truck so I have a good track record with it, or it with me. My previous truck had one as well but I only had the truck one year. One thing I learned was to make sure it's over the rails, I didn't do that on my previous truck and they get pretty scratched up no scratches on my 8 year old truck rails and I'd never get another one without. Just my two cents.

I have the rhino in ours and no problems. $415 with discount coupon. Either rhino or line-x would be a good choice.

We had Rhino in our previous TV and loved it. It was 11 years old. Now we have a drop in because we got it as part of the deal on the truck and that was what the dealer provided. It is over the rail but not as smooth and clean looking as the spray on kind.
Happy trails.........................

I'll add my two cents for line -x . My truck bed sees tough service and this is the best liner we hwve had after three tries.

The Dealer I bought my last three trucks from recommends Line-X. So that's all I have ever had. I have had no problems with any of them ever having a problem. I have seen a Rhino liner as well and would have no problem with one of those if it was all that was around. Check with your dealer they may recommend someone down the street and can get you a pretty sweet deal on one.

P.S. I will never go back to a drop in liner. Way to nice having a sprayed in one and nothing moving around while driving.

Let me ask ....Do you remove the hitch rails in the bed, so just spray these as well ?

We had ours sprayed before the rails were mounted.

I wanted to followup on "Mac's" comment about getting a spray in liner installed "over the rails." The quotes I've gotten so far on LIne-X were for "under the rail" installation. What are the pros and cons of getting "over the rails" installation? And would my plan to get some type of rollup tonneau cover for the pickup bed influence whether or not to get the spray on bedliner "over the rails"? Also, would I want to get the bedliner sprayed in before installing the rollup tonneau cover?

Mine was under the rail..Not sure what the benifits would be of over the rail..Seems like under the rail would add a layer of rust protection...As as for the bedliners,Lin-x Rino-Liner and several other brands of spray in liners they are all pretty much the same..sorta like Tuna Fish..different brand names..but all Tuna fish.

David & JoAnna, I installed the hitch rails after it was sprayed in. As far as spraying over the rails on the top of the bed liner, I guess I wouldn't. The Ford has nice plastic over the rail covers that are black or tan anyway to protect the top of the box. I am not sure Line-X or rhino liner would stay put on a flexible plastic surface. Mine is sprayed up to the lip where the box rails start and I have a truxedo roll up cover installed on mine without any problems. Not sure about other covers but I know I seen a lot of different covers at the rally.
