TOILET RELOCATE HELP NEEDED??
i would like to know if anyone else has addressed this problem. We have a 3650RK and Love it.. However I have noticed that when going into the THINKING/LIBRARY ROOM the leg room was almost to wall. You can't really come to any great decision's or read a good book when your cramped!!
I measured the rear of the toilet and found that it could be moved back 4 1/2" inches, giving a person the much needed extra room to solve the fuel price's and go over the honey do list...
I checked the basement, and there is no problem with moving the sewer pipe back that 4 1/2 inches. The only draw back would be, How would you cover the 3 1/2 half moon area in the floor when you move back the sewer pipe... Any valid suggestions would be appreciate, the world is waiting for some of idea's that get SOLVED in that room. Thank You John

Filler fix: Install a plug disk in the original hole, put a larger patch underneath and re-cut the hole in the new position. The vinyl floor covering may need replacing also. Can the angle of the down tube fittings accomodate the new position? Look at the placement of the flush waterline hole and overhead clearances also.

John,
Have you checked to see if you won't hit your head on the shelf above the toilet. That would be not a good place to get knocked out or have to have the EMT people get you out.
Happy trails.....................

John,
Before I'd go to all that trouble I'd put in a taller toilet. This past spring our original toilet broke. The water lever would no longer work. There was a kit available but we decided we'd like a new one. The new one is about 3 inches taller than our first one. This gives you more room for your feet and legs inside the little room. So far we've been very happy with the new setup.
Good luck.

Are the biffy rooms different sizes in different models or do the workers plumb the toilets in different places? My 06 2955 RL room is 39 inches long. The Dometic sealand toilet is 3 1/2" from the back wall and 16" from the front wall. Being a tall toilet and me being not so tall at 5'9" this gives me 8" in front of my knees. These Dometic toilets are a more comfortable throne than the ones in the stick house.
Good luck moving your throne, if you go that way, and you will want to put in new flooring as that must go under the toilet.
