Shower enclosure leak 2011 Montana 3400rl
I have a little water seepage where the shower/tub enclosure meets the floor. I filled the tub with water to check for a leak, but none was present. I then checked the exterior vertical walls of the tub enclosure to see if water was seeping out between the shower and tub where they join and running down the outside of the enclosure walls. No water present. I then pulled the inspection panel. All drain fittings were tight. There were no water leaks around the drain, and the wood we completely dry.
I am out of things to check. Any ideas/recommendations appreciated.
Tks,
Rodger

Have you been using the black tank flush system? If so, it is possible your backflow valve in the flush system behind the shower is leaking and the water you are seeing is from the valve. I think on yours, like on my 3402, it is in the space where the pocket door is.

The back flow valve in the flush system behind the shower pocket door was my problem too. It's an easy fix.

I used the black tank flush system, but the shower leak does not coincide with the shower leak.
Filled the tub, but there was no leak. Use the shower, the leak starts. Checked underneath while wife was showering. No leak and the drain is tight. No water damage on area wood visible.
Was going to run a small bead of silicon between the door and the tub enclosure, but another site said that could trap water behind the walls, thereby causing additional problems.
Any other suggestions?

On our 07 3400, we had to silicone all of the joint areas since it leaked much as you are describing. Not sure how it could trap water behind the enclosure if you are sealing the water source off?

Mine was a crack in the diverter on the back of the faucet. But I only have a shower and not a tub. Didn't leak unles you turned on the water and took a shower.

If water is not leaking just filling the tub, but is leaking when running in shower mode, either the additional pressure is forcing water out of the plumbing, or maybe the plastic box that is attached to the tub that the faucet is mounted to, is leaking. It is also possible that water is getting by the area where the faucet is mounted to the plastic box.

Tks for the comments. Any suggestions for removing the faucet and the shower plumbing to inspect without removing the entire enclosure?
Tks in advance.

I had to remove the small box the faucet was attached to. You have to cut the silicone and then you can pull it out far enough to turn water on and check if it is leaking.

On mine, the screws that hold the trim on the bottom of the shower door were rusty and slightly loose. This caused a small leak for me. I removed the offending screws and replaced them with new galvanized screws along with some sealant. Have not had this leak since for the past two years.

Found the leak. The vertical seam where two shower walls meet was distorted about three inches up from the bottom. Cleaned the area and filled the gap with silicon. No more leak.
Tks to all for the comments.
