Liquid asphalt on Montana from road work

Just got into Jasper, Alberta and to my disappointment found splatter on my unit from the back tow vehicle tires. Liquid asphalt from road work being done. What's the best way to get it off? I'm thinking a varsal rag...any ideas.
Thanks in advance.

If you're talking about road tar ... use a little diesel on a soft rag. It'll make the tar come right off. I usually rinse with soapy water afterwards. There are cans of bug and tar remover in the stores (Wally World, auto parts), depends on your preference. Mineral spirits will work as well.

Use the Wonder Spray, WD-40, it will clean it right off and not harm the finish. Just spray it on a rag and wipe it away.

3X WD40. Had to clean tar specs off the whole 5er after we returned from AK and went through a construction zone in the rain. NASTY!
