There I was................
........walkin' down the street in the Canyon Gateway RV Park. I saw this Montana in another slot. As is my habit, when I see a Montana, I go knock on the door and introduce myself. Of course I am trolling for new members to the MOC. This fella answered the door and lo and behold it was ols1932 (Orville Schinke). We had a great time exchanging greetings. Then he showed me the new Big Foot, front and rear landing legs. Wow, what a system, easy push button and automatic leveling. I am impressed.....and thinking.
Another Montana owner, named Tom, who has been full timing for two years showed interest in the MOC. He was vigorously encouraged by his wife. There are some more Montanas in the park, but that's tomorrows adventure.

Stiles and Dianna, I was so glad to see your names on the 7 Feathers list tonight. We feel we know you already through your posts. It will be so nice to put real people with those already-familiar names!

LOL,
Earlier yesterday I read how Orv said you ran into him at the campground and he posted the occurrence. Now I see your post on how you met with him, too.
I recently joined the MOC and from my profile information I had received greetings from Orv because he discovered he had JUST had the BigFoot system installed two weeks prior at an RV center right down the street from my stick house!
I knew that Orv was from the North and a fulltimer but joked this was a long way to drive for the suspension system. He explained he was in the Desert Hot Springs (Palm Springs/Coachella Valley area for those of you not as familiar with the area). This is about 70 miles from Murrieta where Orv had the Bigfoot installed.
The MOC is making the world a smaller, friendlier place. I guess that's what it is all about. The wife and I are heading out to Acton, CA (northern LA county area, near Lancaster, CA) for about a week in our Monte to spend some free camping time at 1000Trails. I never noticed before, but there are always quite a few Montanas at the campgrounds and now I'll be looking for MOC bumper stickers, license plate frames and shirts just to see how many I find.
Happy trails everyone,
