Camping World Installs

Hope this is appropriate. If not apologies to all. We will be in Oregon in July and thinking of having Camping World install the Splendide xc2100 in the Monty. Have any of you had experience with Camping World positive or negative on installs. Thanks

They installed our 5th Airborne hitch pin and all was, and still is, well.

Couple of years ago we were in the market for a new toilet. Bought one from CW and asked about installation. They said it would be at least two weeks before they could get to it!

We declined since we were leaving the area in a couple of days. We contacted a local fellow who the RV park recommended and he came out same day at about 1/2 to 1/3 less than CW would have charged.

That has been our only experience with installs from CW.

Your experience will vary depending upon the person that they have hired to work on it, vary wildly...
But one would hope they stand behind their work. I have heard stories good and bad.
Probably no different than taking a vehicle to Sears for work needed.

Like Ozz says -

In fact I won't let them do anything unless I am watching. I've only had one experience and it was bad. I got a refund for all remaining prepaid installations on our last rig and did it myself.
