Some time ago on a different forum, someone asked the question about adding a Bidet to their toilet. At the time I thought that was really funny, but fast forward a few months later and my wife wanted one in the house.
She searched the Internet and found one that attaches directly to an existing toilet. Next thing you know, delivery dropped one off, and the next day we had a working Bidet in the house. It actually was quite easy and simply to install.
Well, it turns out, the Bidet has certain advantages, and face it, my wife was hooked. So I was teasing her saying, "So, when we go camping, you're really going to miss that thing, aren't you." Well.... next thing you know, she ordered one for the trailer and today I finally got it installed.
Unlike the house, it had a couple challenges.
First, the one is the house was right handed, and the one in the camper needed to be left handed. On the right side, it would have interfered with the cabinet doors clearance. So, it had to be a left handed. She found one.
The second challenge was the parts that came with it are designed for a household toilet. The T connection is threaded to fit the connection under the tank on a conventional toilet. I think that connection is 7/8 inch threaded English. On a trailer, the connection is threaded 1/2 inch English, and finding a connecting link from the 1/2 inch to the 7/8 PEX pipe to the 7/8 inch (other end), back to a 1/2 inch connection on the toilet provided a 3 day trek to a few hardware stores.
Finally, I found a true hardware store, that specialized in true hardware items (not the cookie-cutter stuff at Lowe's or Home Depot), and the guys there fixed me up just right! Using a 1/2 inch threaded T with a reduce to the 3/8 inch T, it worked perfect.
Although it's still winter, I pressurized the water system again with RV antifreeze and tested the pipes for leaks and to make sure the Bidet actually worked. And it did!
And oh, while I was at it, I installed a new toilet seat. That cheap-o one that came factory was actually cracking and the supports on the bottom were breaking. So, new wooden toilet seat too.

My wife ordered ours off of Amazon.
So, yes, it can be done in a camper!
