I had a 2955 before the current Monty. I pulled it with a short-bed F-250 diesel and a PullRite SuperGlide hitch.

An advantage of the SuperGlide is that when you are hooked up, you don't have to worry about turning clearance. The hitch does everything automatically.

A disadvantage of the SuperGlide is the d*** thing weighs over 300 pounds. I had to rig a pulley/come-along system in my garage to take the hitch out and use a furniture dolly to move it around.

Other MOCers have used other sliding hitches and have had good luck with them. I would definitely use some brand of sliding hitch and not trust the (so called) aerodynamic cap to miss your cab in a sharp turn.
