Smile Turn us lose and set us free pulling our Montanna

Hi all,
We are Jim & Celia from mid Missouri. In Feb while spending the winter in Mission, TX we decided to browse 5th Wheels. Looked at a bunch at various dealers in the area, 3 days later we were the proud owners of a 305RL Montanna High Country. We named this baby, “Hooch On Wheels”. Of course it had a few problems but the dealer, RV Station in Donna, TX took care of them like I was the owners brother. Next stop, Branson, Mo for some country music love. See you there.

The 305 HC is my favorite of all the Montana and High Country campers.

Jim and Celia, Congratulations on the new set of wheels. Since you are from Missouri you might think about joining us up in Nebraska for the MOC Central Plains Regional Rally. It's going to be held at Victorian Acres in Nebraska City, NE in July. If you would like to join us check out my post under the Regional Camping Club section here on the Forum. It's a smaller rally and we have a lot to do and see in the area and also time to just sit around and enjoy each others company. Hope you can join us. If you have any questions Private Message me and I'll try and answer them.

Congrats on the new 305. We bought one last year. Couple of things you may want to check. When we picked our's up, the tires were 80lbs, decal says 95lbs. We had a crimped propane line behind on the the tanks - stove worked on 1 burner, furnace would not light and refer was spotty on propane only. Light strip under awning needed a few extra screws to secure it to the monty's side.

Dealer, Sierra RV in Reno, fixed everything on the spot.

One problem I fixed, the wires to the electric brakes on the DS were open and could run against the leaf springs. I enclosed them in flexible, split plastic conduit.
