Cool I tripped over this site " googling "...

After 5 years of talk, my wife and I went out and purchased a shinny new trailer, er ummm 5TH WHEEL, to be correct by EVERYONE in the RV world.. and her aunt. Who is an RVer too.
Nothing like buying a home to take with you anywhere. We just sold off our entire 2000 sqr.ft. house in 3 weeks. What a liberating feeling. All that just junk we pack around is insanity. House sold in 32 hours. I believe califonians are insane, by birth. Just saying!!!
Sad for me though, I am a mechanic by God's gifting, so " down sizing " 35 years of tools is quite a chore. Had to get 3 full on tool chests into a 4 drawer portable box . I can not believe I started 3 businesses with the same box. How did I do it.....
Anyway, I am very glad I tripped over this site. I have found it to be an incredible source of info. Being new to the RV world, I will be keeping my readers very close by.
BTW parking a 40ft 5th wheel in a fema camp, er, box development, is a HOOOOOOOT !!!! these people are so, well you can guess!!!!

Welcome from California! Sounds like you are making the downsizing transition nicely! I can relate, I have tool chest in my garage along with some woodworking machines. Maybe someday I will part with my "stuff"...

OK folks; moderator hat on: Several posts have been removed from this thread. A reminder:

These are the forum rules: http://www.montanaowners.com/forums/...ork&page=rules

We expect folks to post in a collegial manner. This means:
  • No name calling
  • No rants
  • and as proscribed by forum rules, no political, religious or gun topics. They lead to disagreements.

We have members from a wide variety of backgrounds - the thing we share in common is RVing - let's stick to that please and keep this the friendliest board around. If you see a post that is a problem - hit the report icon on that post and let the forum site team mange the mess but do not respond in kind.

Thanks for understanding
