Water leak
When we came home from our last outing we found water in the basement storage area. After emptying out the basement and removing the partitions we found a leak coming from a connection to the water pump. There is a compression clamp holding the water supply to the fitting. Is there a special tool and replacement clamps available.

I am also having trouble with water leaks in the basement area all coming from the back and bottom of the convenience center. I am also curious about the pex clamps. I have crimping tools for pex fittings but not that style of clamp? Everytime I travel new leaks seem to form!

If you are talking about the 1/2" plastic PEX water lines ... Menards, Lowes, Home Depot, others carry them and the crimp tool (a bit pricey). They may not look exactly like OEM, but any design of PEX clamp will work with the right crimper. Follow directions as you're just trying to secure the PEX line to the fitting without crushing it. If there is enough line, you may have to cut the first 1/2" or so off to get a crimp that holds. Plastic tube cutters make a good, clean, and square cut. You might snap a photo to be sure we are talking about the same thing.

Fittings in our trailers use the plastic connections and so you have to use the same crimping clamps factory used. Best brand is oedecker, used in brewery operations, but what you see in lowes is good. The crimper looks like end snips, but with dull surfaces. Crimpers are about 25 bucks. Metal fittings use compression rings of copper and require compression tool which is about 100 bucks and up. John

I have done a couple of PEX repairs, using sharkbite products rather than crimping.

Early on, after buying our current rig, we also had water in the basement. I removed the side panel behind the convenience center and found several threaded fittings loose. After tightening them by hand, and then giving them a little extra with pliers, they don't leak anymore. I would think that would be the more likely location of leaks in that area than the clamps on the PEX. It is a pretty sad mess behind the convenience center with all the tubing. This is a photo of ours.

I wish mine looked that good! I had several loose ones dripping. Yours are secured with strapping mine are not. Yours are reasonable neat. My go everywhere some too long some short and many wrapped with electrical wires. I made the mistake of removing the belly pan to get it dried out and that cost me a couple days work. All the wiring and ductwork hit the ground when I removed the belly pan cardboard. It took two days to figure out how to tie up the ducts and wires as none were secured to anything. Also got a few gallons of water out of it. I have never seen anything put together so shoddy! I now have added extra foam board in the front belly trying to keep the basement warm.
